This is a portrait of my friend Lauren  that I did using pencil and a biro.

First, I used the pencil so that I
could get the lines of her face right
and then I used the pen to go over
those lines and add a little bit of
shading to her upper lip and eyes.

It is an extremely simple and quick sketch, which is the reason I like it.
