For students

Richard Burns is a frequent lecturer, public speaker and presenter of seminars and workshops. A former Project Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund, he is Bye-Fellow at Downing College and Preceptor at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and he also supervises at Emmanuel and Pembroke Colleges and at Peterhouse. He regularly runs seminars and gives talks and lectures at other universities and on teacher training programmes.

He is an expert on: writing and study skills for university students; creative writing, especially for schools and for teachers; and English as a Foreign Language for students of all levels and ages.

Richard Burns has also been a frequent visiting lecturer and speaker for the British Council, as well as for universities, schools, cultural and educational organisations and businesses in the UK and other countries, including: Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, India, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.
