These two sketches are details
from Michelangelo's original sketch
of the Lybian Sybil for the Sistine Chapel. I
created a similar background to the background
of the original, by staining the card with coffee,
using a sponge. This way, I got the sort of 'old paper’
effect. I drew the hand and the foot using three different
shades of brown colour-soft pencils and one white.
